Muhammad Qaisar is Fellow with the Council on Economic Policies focused on governing finance and the energy transition in Asia. He holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School at National University of Singapore, a master’s degree in economics from Quaid-I-Azam University and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Punjab in Pakistan. He has multi-year experience in the governance of finance, including several years with the State Bank of Pakistan where he served as Assistant Director for sustainable and development finance initiatives.
