Sem Houben is a senior prudential expert at UNEP Finance Initiative, where he serves as the focal point for engagement with central banks and prudential supervisors globally. He also helps coordinate sustainable policy implementation support mandates in emerging markets, funded by the Green Climate Fund. Before joining UNEP FI, he worked in banking supervision at both the Dutch Central Bank and the European Central Bank. He holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
